The town and the commune Becej mostly owe their progress to typical plain resources: fertile soil, water found, natural gas and thermal springs. Therefore took agriculture (on 44000 ha exceptional quality soil) the first place in economic development of the commune Becej. Favorable climate conditions, the vicinity of the river Tisa, the Canal Dunav - Tisa - Dunav and according to tradition working habits of population gave to agriculture production, their specific stamp.

As logical result, above mentioned natural and social-cultural potential is agroindustry block developed, which lays the foundation of the whole industryproduction.
