      Thanks to them the town could build up its public bath as early as in 1904. Today, instead of the bath there is a spa. The Sports and Recreation Center, a city garden and a planthouse, as well the "Bela Ladja" Hotel who is in the last stage of construction are all located nearby the spa. All these places are very much attractive for those who ewe spending their free time near the river Tisa.

      About 12 km far from Becej in the direction of the Becej - Backa Topola road there is a castle build up in the late 20`s by Bogdan Dundjerski, a rich man of high-standing, well-known in the town of Becej. Now the castle has been turned into the high B category "Fantast" Hotel. Near the castle there is a mosaic above the front door made by the famous painter Uros Predic. All these buildings now belong to the "Becej" Industrial Farm. Not far from those tourists, as well as attractive hunting fields.

      The river Tisa which flows throughout this region, the Big Canal of Backa, the Beqanska Bara swamp and many other small channels rich with many fish sorts are offering good opportunities to those who ewe fishing. The "Becej" fishpond located halfway from Becej to Backo Gradiste is an attractive place for angling. This area is rich with game; it is also very good for hunting.
